From the miraculous reparative powers of Guerlain’s newest Abeille Royale product to an all-new classic in the form of Le Labo’s latest fragrance, here’s a selection of our favourite launches from the past month that claimed a spot in our beauty wishlist.
Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Correcting Serum
Get ready to say goodbye to dark spots, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, acne scars and more as Clinique introduces a renewed, fourth generation update to its best-selling serum. Featuring vitamin C, proprietary UP302 and the new Pure Niacinimide ingredient, it promises to give results in fading blemishes at four levels of the skin, from surface to within by reducing and slowing melanin production. Also launched is the renewed Even Better Clinical Vitamin Makeup SPF50 foundation, with a lightweight serum-like texture that boosts brightening while leaving skin naturally radiant.
ALBION Authentique Skincare Series
Japanese premium skincare brand ALBION launches a whole new series of skincare products. Authentique is a revolutionary series designed to unlock the skin’s natural youthful radiance through protein-based skincare technology. Each product in the series is infused with proteins, the building blocks that keeps the skin working optimally. From cleansing oil all the way to 24-karat gold-enriched cream, this five-product skincare series will leave your skin renewed over time.
Tatcha The Brightening Serum and The Brightening Eye Cream
Radiance, firmness, and clarity that works across 12 hours with one application, Tatcha’s The Brightening Serum and Eye Cream are the latest releases to join the brand’s list of cult-fave products. The key tech is the proprietary 12-hour Time-Release Vitamin C that is a stabilised form of the antioxidant ingredient. It offers a slow-release effect that ensures penetration into the skin without overwhelming it. Japanese plum, ferulic acid, and pro-glutathione make up the formula for stronger barrier and restored vitality too.
Biossance Squalene + Firm & Lift Dual Serum
Now you can get hydrated and firmer skin with one dual-action serum with Biossance’s new launch. This serum targets fine lines and wrinkles to reveal visibly firmer, lifted skin thanks the Hydralift Complex, which includes Gravetye Giant, ectoin, and bisabolol oil. The Firm & Lift Dual Serum is also infused with hyaluronic acid to boost hydration, as well as the titular squalene that increases the potency of other active ingredients – just don’t forget to shake the serum well before application!
Guerlain Abeille Royale Youth Watery Oil Serum
The iconic Abeille Royale honours its 15-year legacy of harnessing the restorative and repairing powers of the black bee’s honey with the introduction of the Youth Watery Oil Serum. For the first time, Guerlain combines three types of black bee honey – ouessant honey from France, Trogstad honey from Norway, and Connemara honey from Ireland – into one serum plus royal jelly, boasting more than 100 phytochemical compounds. Together, they activate exceptional anti-aging and repairing benefits that promise what the brand calls the 1-1-1 feat: visible results after the first drop, the first hour, and the first month.
KraveBeauty Plumptuous Lip Jelly
Everyone’s fave skincare brand KraveBeauty takes a fun first step into the world of makeup with a range of nourishing lip jellies. Not quite as slick as lip oils and not sticky like lip gloss, these KraveBeauty’s lip jelly offers hydration with a pop of colour, featuring the good skin benefits of plum oil, maxilip peptide, and triolein – all sustainably sourced of course. Available in four shades from natural to bold, swiping them all will be a blast with the unique metal applicator that leaves a cool touch. And the best part is that they’re refillable too, keeping your lips and the planet happy too.
CELINE Beauté Le Rouge Celine
Following on from the launch of the essential Parisian lip colour Rouge Triomphe, CELINE Beauté introduces 14 new shades to the Le Rouge Celine line, creating a full collection of lipsticks for every occasion. This launch kicks of the Winter 2024 season of beauty products and accessories for the fashion maison, leading to the unveiling of a full beauty ritual as designed by Hedi Slimane for CELINE. Satisfying both the need for comfort and performance, Le Rouge Celine boasts a satin finish in bold colours, from the classic La Peau Nue nude shade up to the arresting dark purple Nightclubbing shade.
Le Labo Eucalyptus 20
The evergreen Classic Collection from Le Labo gains another fragrance in the form of the new Eucalyptus 20 Eau de Parfum, a long-awaited addition for the brand. Evoking the spirit of wandering, getting lost, and embracing the uncharted, Eucalyptus 20 features the freshness of its titular plant blended with cedarwood, softened by leathery labdanum, and grounded on a base of musk and frankincense. The perfect fragrance to accompany you on your next adventure, this new blend will fit right into Le Labo’s repertoire.
Diptyque Orphéon
Parisian haute parfumerie brand Diptyque relaunches the iconic Orphéon scent in a range of new creations. The fragrance has been bottling the essence of a nighttime Paris of the 60s inspired by a jazz lounge which the perfume shares its name. Cedar, tonka bean, juniper berries, and jasmine blend to bring to life the ambience of that very same bar, where drinks and conversations flowed freely. Joining the Orphéon universe is the limited-edition design featuring a dark blue label, a first in the scent’s design history. Also available is the exclusive Orphéon Premium Set which houses the bottle in a fine oak wood case inspired by drinks cabinets, as well as a set of two candles: Narguilé and Genévrier which are meant to compliment to notes of Orphéon’s scent.
