Louis Vuitton Montgolfière Aero
This creative timepiece from Louis Vuitton make for an interesting objet d’art that will instantly catch attention at your holiday party, or just occupy your time as you marvel at its complexity. The Montgolfière Aero is the first piece to be produced in the brand’s new watchmaking segment of Creative Time Objects and pays homage to the Aero Trunk from 1906, a luggage trunk designed to be attached to a hot-air balloon’s basket. It can be displaying in two ways: as a table clock or suspended from the ceiling, and is read from the monogram flower that tells the time on the two rotating discs. The monogram flower that makes up the balloon can also be rotated with a gentle push, creating another piece of this time object to marvel over.
