Conceived, distilled and hand-crafted on Islay using 22 foraged island botanicals, making Super Premium, The Botanist more than just a regular gin. And the world’s no.4 best-selling liquor will soon be available to purchase in Malaysia.
To celebrate the World’s Gin Day this June 10th, the brand is making sure Malaysian consumers will have the opportunity to sample its smooth and versatile spirit fist-hand. As the brand explained, “We want to inspire people to reconnect with nature through discovering the hidden flavours all around them through drinking The Botanist with a local, seasonal garnish. It’s an incredible liquid and we’re delighted that it will now be available in Malaysia.”
James Donaldson, the professional forager who works closely with the brand, carefully selects the botanicals for The Botanist one by one throughout spring, summer and autumn over the hills, bogs and coastlines of Islay, a Scottish Hebridean Island. The 22 botanicals were then vapour distilled by Head Distiller, Adam Hannett using 100% wheat neutral grain spirit, nine berries barks, seeds and peels and pure Islay spring water in a uniquely modified Lomond Still, affectionately nicknamed Ugly Betty.
Whether you’re throwing an evening cocktail or hosting a fancy dinner with your friends, The Botanist can be enjoyed neat, in a cocktail or in a gin and tonic with a foraged or local and seasonal garnish of your choice.
This World’s Gin Day, the brand will also be running a Gift with Purchase at participating outlets across Malaysia below, and The Botanist Official Shopee store. Promotion period lasted from 9th June to 10th June, while stocks last.
