Many know him as an actor, singer and businessman, but Pachara Chirathivat’s last name means a big deal. Among other titles, the 26-year-old is the fourth-generation member of the Chirathivat family, who founded and owns Central Group – Thailand’s largest mall developer.
The family ranks fourth in Forbes’ list of Thailand’s 50 Richest Net Worth 2020 and tenth in Asia’s Richest Families 2017. However, he has decided to branch out of the family retail business to pursue his own passions.
Fondly called Peach, the rising star of the country’s entertainment industry is best known for his roles in the Thai films, SuckSeed and The Billionaire. He is currently working with Channel 3 and also plays one of the leads in the teen drama Hormones: The Series.

When not in front of the camera, Peach can be spotted singing onstage or jamming out with his indie band, Rooftop. Interestingly, the band was formed after his stint as a young rock musician in the 2011 film, SuckSeed.

He writes most of the lyrics of his songs, and can also play the guitar and keyboard. His reason: “I feel most comfortable singing my own lyrics. If you sing your own song, nobody else can do it better than you.”
Besides playing music, he is the founder and general manager of Viveka & Vehement Recording and Live Music Production. Take a look at his cool studio below.
Music aside (albeit a significant part of his life), the International Business Administration graduate from Chulalongkorn University co-founded Thailand’s division of the food franchise, Potato Corner. Under his watch, the company has grown to over 50 stores since it was established in April 2016.
Blessed with good looks, stardom and family fame, he doubles as the face of the brand – often fronting its campaigns and advertisements.
Peach also uses his social influence for philanthrophy. Back in 2014, he provided support for Mon, a 12-year-old boy who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, after receiving a call from the Make-A-Wish Foundation to grant his dying wish of meeting him in person.
“I never thought I’d be such an influence like this on people… When we have a good life, a good job and good health, we should share our happiness with others. I tell myself I have to do best every day, because we never know what might happen,” he commented
On top of that, he is actively working with organisations such as Unicef on various humanitarian issues.
Some other hobbies and stints he has dabbled in include jujitsu…
…film photography…
…and modelling.
He appears to be a big fan of English Premiere League football club, Chelsea.
What about his favourite TV show? Our best guess is Netflix’s Peaky Blinders. The giveaway: he flew all the way to Digberth, Birmingham to catch “The Legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival” last September, although it could have been the rock bands that caught his attention.

Despite his many interests, however, family is one thing that seems to be constant for Peach. His father is Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO of Centara Hotels and Resorts. But judging by how often he shares photos of his fashionable mother, Som Chanada, it’s safe to say that he’s a mummy’s boy.

He also has two sisters, Pimpisa and Khemmanat – or better known by their nicknames Pear and Pine, like Peach himself. Now, aren’t they the picture of #siblinggoals and #familygoals?
