As the 21-year-old granddaughter of Prince Egon and Diane von Fürstenberg, Princess Talita Natalia von Fürstenberg is one of the few people who can lay claim to the title of “fashion royalty”. Not only is she the potential heir to her grandmother’s fashion legacy, she’s also a member of the Swabian House of Fürstenberg, the heiress of the Italian Agnelli dynasty, and the granddaughter to billionaire businessman Robert Warren Miller.
Born on May 7, 1999, Talita is the daughter of Prince Alexander von Fürstenberg and Alexandra Miller. She’s the older sister of Prince Tassilo Egon Maximilian von Fürstenberg and half-sister to Prince Leon von Fürstenberg. In 2017, she graduated from the Los Angeles Brentwood School, before taking up international relations at Georgetown University with her cousin. However, fashion eventually proved to be her calling, as she later transferred to New York University to study fashion business and marketing.
Even though Talita just hit her twenties, she’s already amassed quite a number of fashionable accomplishments under her belt – from walking the runway for Dolce & Gabbana during Milan Fashion Week in 2017 and being featured on magazines, to being named the new muse for DvF.
And while she has yet to carve a household name for herself like Diane von Fürstenberg, Talita is certainly well on her way. In April 2019, she collaborated with her grandmother for the first time for a capsule collection called TVF for DVF, a youth-driven collection that evokes balmy memories by the coast and the perfume of flowers. Since then, Talita has continued designing in partnership with DVF, with her third and latest collection which launched this August.
So what is it like to the granddaughter of a highly revered fashion designer and blue-blooded socialite? While the great majority of us won’t be rubbing elbows with her anytime soon, we can always throw in a few guesses based on her social media.
Naturally, as the granddaughter of a world renowned fashion designer, you’ll often find Talia dressed to the nines. And if you couldn’t already tell, she’s got a thing for pretty frocks and beautiful dresses – a lot of them coming from her own collections.
