Tudor divers’ watch dates back to 1954, waterproof to 100 metres, it was the first collection in a long line of sought-after aquatic timepieces that were worn by pioneers of underwater exploration across the world. In the seven decades of its history, Tudor continues to improve the craftsmanship of its pieces, receiving acclaim from professionals in the field – including some of the world’s greatest military navies.
A refined adaptation of its predecessors, the Pelagos collection became a house name for diver watch fanatics. From the illustrious collection, we are delighted to introduce the Pelagos 39. A versatile timepiece where technical diving meets urban sophistication.
This model has a water resistance of 200 metres and includes a complimentary black rubber strap with a pin buckle and diver’s extension. In relation to absolute time in a single movement, Tudor’s line of intricate pieces has an average variation of daily running between -2 and +4 seconds once assembled.
Its Manufacture Calibre MT5400 is certified as a chronometer by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), with a performance beyond the standards set by the independent institute. Another feature of this masterclass calibre is its astonishing 70-hour power reserve.
Its aesthetic balance is achieved through an entirely satin-brushed case, contrasting the radiance of its bezel insert, made of black ceramic with an enhanced sunray satin finish with a graduated scale in white luminous material. The hour markers on the dial are made of monobloc luminescent ceramic composite, enhancing the technical aesthetics whilst considerably increasing its luminous visibility.
Tudor was founded by Hans Wilsdorf with a vision to create the most robust, durable, reliable and precise timepieces. Over the decades, that vision remains well and alive – it lives in each timepiece to this day.
