Mini Malaysia has unveiled first deets on its Mini Countryman JCW Design Edition, done in collaboration with the one and only John Cooper Works, the racing car makers and original tuners for the Mini Cooper.
Inspired by performance and motorsports, the new edition comes equipped with the John Cooper Works Aerodynamic Kit that includes front splitters, side skirts, side scuttles, rear diffusers and door sills to make the car look even sportier and more muscular than the average Mini.
JCW’s signature sport stripes have also been added to the sides, running from the front to the back, lending the car a more aggressive look and stance.
This new edition is also the only Mini to come with new interchangeable Mini LED door projectors, that makes for a very special experience each time you get in and out of the car – it can project either the Mini logo with a Union Jack design onto the ground as well as a John Cooper Works design.
The striking new appearance comes with unrivalled Go-Kart driving dynamics in respect to the brand, delivered with a powerful 190 hp engine that is able to hit 100km/h in 7.8 seconds and capable of a top speed of 212 km/h thanks to its 240Nm to 260Nm Overboost function.
The new Mini Countryman JCW Deisgn Edition is available in 4 paint finishes, including light white, blazing red, starlight blue and jungle green. All come with black roofs and mirror caps.
