To embody the creative duality of the Clash [Un]limited collection and the French neoclassicism of the Double C de Cartier bag, Cartier has named actress and long-time friend of the Maison Lily Collins as the new face.
“For me, being part of the Cartier family means joining a community of unique nonconformists who show great strength of character,” said Collins in a statement. “Cartier is Paris, it’s this certain idea of elegance and French refinement which the Clash [Un]limited jewellery and the Double C bag embody with classic extravagance.”

Set to be unveiled in September, the Clash [Un]limited capsule collection is an expansion of Cartier’s edgy and youthful Clash de Cartier collection. Taking on a much bolder expression to change conventions of fine jewellery, the limited edition creations will feature spiked rings, bracelets, and earrings adorned with onyx, diamonds, and amethyst. Two high-end watch styles will also be offered.

Collins also fronts the new campaign for the Double C de Cartier bag, which now includes two new models and new colours. The use of a thin jewellery chain adds a sophisticated touch, while allowing the bag to be worn over the shoulder or across the body. Its faceted links create a more relaxed yet uniform appearance, adding a casual feel.

Also available in red, black, and pink, the colour collection now includes Capri Blue and Mint Green. To accent the elegant shades, a jewelled clasp of Cartier’s initials is enhanced by a delicate touch of tone-on-tone lacquer.
