Fiery speeds, fierce power and ferocious agility are not the only things Johor Daruk Ta’zim Football Club and Aston Martin have in common.
The club and British carmaker have announced a partnership for a ‘JDT Edition’ Aston Martin, further cementing the Southern Tigers as a leading football brand in Southeast Asia.

The partnership is a deep-rooted one that is going to develop opportunities for JDT, Johor and Aston Martin Racing in various areas over the coming years, with profits from the sales of the cars being shared by JDT and Aston Martin.
Announced yesterday on the official JDT FC social media sites, players were seen posing next to a few Aston Martin vehicles. However, the cars are believed to merely be from private collections and not the special editions.

The club calls the partnership one of “champions in respective fields teaming up”. JDT FC is the reigning seven times consecutive winners of the Malaysia Super League since 2014, while Aston Martin Racing won the LMGTE Pro class at the 2020 Le Mans endurance race.
