Trust Jackie Chan to go big or go home, a motto he clearly applies even to his super yacht, Jinlong 4601, which he commissioned from Chinese shipyard Jinlong.
The martial artist and actor’s order for the flagship uber-luxury vessel that measures 46.5 metres long first placed in 2017 is finally ready to meet the world and it’s an impressive feat.
Designed by Dutch yacht design and naval architecture firm Mulder Design, the all-aluminium yacht is stylishly finished in monochromatic all-white paintwork save for a contrasting jet-black hull. The name Jinlong is inscribed on the front in striking gold in both Chinese and English.
A powerful twin MTU 16V 2000 M84 diesel engine propels it to a maximum speed of 21 knots. Cruising at a comfortable 12 knots though, it is capable of a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles.
This isn’t Jackie’s first luxury super yacht – he already has a 125-foot vessel by Chinese shipyard Ruiying Yachts that came into his possession in 2017, also gleaming with top of the line amenities.
