For the first time in champagne history, the front label is transparent with the G.H Mumm signature and the famous eagle emblem printed in gold onto the bottle itself.
G.H. Mumm is no stranger to celebrations. It was the French champagne that was sprayed on the Formula One podium for 15 years, immortalising its name henceforth on the winner’s podium.
The champagne house is now rolling out a new look on its best-selling champagne. Featuring the bold touch from Parisian design studio Yorgo & Co, the G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge now comes in a disruptive and modern look.
For the first time in champagne history, the front label is transparent with the G.H Mumm signature and the famous eagle emblem printed in gold onto the bottle itself. The Maison’s founding date of 1827 is in a modern new font, while the iconic red sash is twined around the bottle, almost in reverence of it. The red ribbon is a historic symbol of Mumm’s spirit and excellence.
In the words of Sebastien Mouquet, Managing Director of Pernod Ricard Malaysia, “The stunning new Cordon Rouge bottle offers a visual reflection of the unique characteristics of Mumm’s champagnes: a blend of energy and intensity, with an enticing hint of freshness.”
We agree. The new look goes well with the sparkling wine within. It embodies the bubbly’s energetic freshness, with a sophisticated look. The Cordon Rouge has notes of fresh fruits and caramel with a powerful, memorable finish.
