The wait is over for the First-Ever BMW iX3. BMW Malaysia today unveiled the all-electric Sports Activity Vehicle from the next generation of BMW i in Malaysia, available in two exclusive variants, the Inspiring and Impressive. The vehicles’ launch promises guilt-free power, performance and style all wrapped into one electric driving experience.
“Alongside our upcoming fleet of new BMW i vehicles, the First-Ever BMW iX3 is set to spur a new generation of Electric Vehicle (EV) owners in Malaysia, as the all-electric SAV presents a wealth of possibilities with its all-rounded qualities in innovation and design language to make the electric premium ownership experience even more enjoyable,” says Hans de Visser, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia.
Both the Inspiring and Impressive variants come equipped with the M Sport package, which offers a dynamic and expressive exterior design, boasting 20” aerodynamic wheels and kidney grilles with a high gloss finish.
Inside, the first-ever BMW iX3 is fitted with the latest technology featuring the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. Those opting for the BMW Live Cockpit Professional will have an enhanced driving experience with two large 12.3” screens.
Electrifying efficiency
Matching efficiency with power, the First-Ever BMW iX3 is run by an electric motor with an 80-kWh lithium-ion battery to bring an impressive range of up to 461 kilometres (WLTP).
Additionally, the First-Ever BMW iX3 supports DC fast charging, with rates of up to 150 kW for 80% charge within 32 minutes. AC charging will see rates of up to 11 kW supported via a Type 2 connection for 100 percent in approximately seven and a half hours.
The BMW Service & Repair Inclusive and the Power Package are included with purchase of either variants, providing a 5-Year Extended Warranty and a 6-Year Service Package, as well as the BMW i Wallbox and BMW Standard Charging Cable. Owners of the all-electric, mid-sized vehicle will also be given an 8-Year, 160,000 km battery warranty.
The First-Ever BMW iX3 in Peninsular Malaysia is priced at RM 335,800.00 for the Inspiring variant, while the Impressive variant is priced at RM 354,800.00. The newly launched cars can be pre-booked at selected authorised BMW dealerships nationwide.
