With celestial imagery, luxurious fabrics, and striking graphics that radiate a feminine charm, the Dior Spring/Summer 2024 Collection, curated by Maria Grazia Chiuri, has arrived in Malaysia. This time, the exclusive pop-up chose the ever elegant Colony At The Met on Jalan Dutamas as its newest location to exhibit the collection.
Housed on the ninth floor, the space is filled with the latest ready-to-wear pieces, handbags, footwear, and accessories adorned with sun motifs, evoking a sense of fairy tales and femininity. As for jewellery, iconic pieces including the Toile de Jouy Soleil Choker and the Dior Tribales New Look Necklace coated with gold-finish metal and white resin pearls are on full display.
Representing the four seasons, the Toile de Jouy Soleil pattern took centre stage throughout the venue, accompanied by crescent moons, stars, and other celestial wonders. The pieces and display stands were also adorned with signature floral details and Dior bees. Each silhouette surpassed the previous ones, embodying femininity and feminism while maintaining a sense of lightness, softness, and comfort.
At the Dior Cafe, the House collaborated once again with Chef Raymond Tham from the Michelin-starred Beta, to curate a special menu and drinks exclusively for the event. The menu features Chutoro Tuna Tartare with Mango and Lime, Heirloom Tomato Carpaccio with Avocado Mousse, and Charcoal Grilled Wagyu Beef Striploin with Mandarin Peel Jus, and others.
