For the first time in its 46-year history, BONIA has embarked on a journey through its storied heritage for a milestone collection that expands the brand’s presence into tableware.
Made from fine Bone China, each collection is perfect for any occasion, from breakfast to dinner, and can be served on its own or mixed for variety.
Dishes, teacups, mugs and serving plates are designed for curating and layering to add that little bit of extra joie de vivre to every dining experience. They come in three centrepiece collections, one named after the very geographical landscape of our country, another for an icon of our neighbours down South and a third as a tribute the house’s own artistry and craftsmanship.
Peninsula
The Peninsula Series tells of the ornate and culturally rich influences of Melaka with traditional Peranakan prints inspiring the motifs that adorn the collection’s plates and tea set. Gold accents frame harmonious colours of green and yellow for a collection that is sprightly, bright and fun.
Merlion
The Merlion Series takes influence from the blooming seeds of growth, adorning the collection’s palette of plates and tea set with peacocks and cranes, both symbols of beauty, dignity, longevity and prosperity. Named after the official mascot of Singapore, it also a friendly tribute to our neighbours down South, who shares equally as big a fervour for dining as we do.
Marini
The Marini Series pays tribute to the artistry and craftsmanship that continue to inspire the brand today, adorning the collection of tableware pieces with intricate motifs and an obvious elegant touch. Bold red trim the pieces as a reminder of constant passion in pursuing excellence in design and craftsmanship.
The collections are now available at all boutiques and online at the official website here.
