Bag enthusiasts, rejoice, for the arm candies sure were aplenty at the Spring Summer 2017 fashion shows.

Think dramatic and exaggerated proportions of totes and duffels seen at Céline and Balenciaga. Balancing it out was Valentino’s compact sling, good enough for a couple of credit cards. Micro and flap bags at Chloe’s had us wanting to leave our makeup pouches at home so we can carry it. DSquared2 on the other hand, made sure the double bag trend from Spring 2016 was here to stay. And we wouldn’t want it any other way given its funky vibe with its jewel embellishments.

Perhaps straying away from the usuals should be this season’s motto.
