The Parisian brand Cerruti 1881, has consistently demonstrated the ability to blend technical innovation with timeless design. This time around, the brand once again calls forth the charm factor in announcing its latest creation – one that is both technical and masculine. The Molveno captures the essence of modern masculinity and precise engineering in a wristwatch.

Named after the picturesque Italian municipality of Molveno, nestled among the rugged beauty of the Italian Alps, the Cerruti 1881 Molveno collection draws inspiration from its surroundings. This inspiration is masterfully translated into the timepieces’ design, capturing the essence of Italian style filled with distinct personalities.

A sporty-elegant collection, the Molveno presents two core series that showcase a unique set of dials and features. The models of the first series feature a dynamic interplay of brown and black, as well as green and grey tones, respectively. These watches are paired with matching silicone straps, enhancing their rugged appeal and providing weather resistance.

The second series boasts a different colour palette: blue with silver accents and black with silver accents. These timepieces feature stitching detail and perforated leather strap, striking a balance between comfortable dressy and sporty.

Besides its design elements, the collection is housed within durable stainless-steel cases with 50m water resistance of 45.5mm diameter. The watches have been given a tough ion-plating, exuding an aura of rugged elegance. The Molveno is also powered by a precise Japanese quartz movement. These watches boast a conventional time display in the centre along with three sub-dials showcasing the day, home time in 24 hours and a second-time zone in 24 hours. A convenient date aperture at 4 o’clock adds to its practicality, allowing wearers to have relevant information at a quick glance.

The case has been given a combination of finishings including flat brushed angles and matte surfaces. Bringing it all together, the prominent pushers and angled crown make it easy to operate the functions of the timepiece.
