Patek Philippe unveils its latest exclusive Nautilus series in a suite of three. The luxury watch brand crafts three intricate variations of one of the most desired series within its line. Here’s a look at the latest Nautilus series.
Inspired by the iconic Nautilus Reference 5711/1, this latest design includes subtle enhancements and technical innovations. A mix of business with pleasure, this model includes a white gold reinterpretation, combined with a sunburst blue dial with a black-gradient rim. This Nautilus, reference 5811/1G-001, features a slightly wider diameter than its predecessors. It includes applied hour markers as well as rounded baton-style hands, all in white gold with a white luminescent coating. Highlighted by a white gold aperture frame on the date disk is a specialised font that features “40 years”, marking the establishment of this series with a heritage that spans over four decades.
In addition, this watch is waterproof to a hundred and twenty metres of depth. A creation with a distinctive tone in mind, this timepiece subtly interplays hand-crafted satin with polished finishes on the bezel, case and bracelet. It is equipped with a Self-winding 26-330 S C Calibre made visible through a transparent sapphire case back. The calibre features a ‘stop seconds’ device which enables the time to be set down to the exact second.
A rose to last a lifetime. A design, a direct descendent of the first Nautilus, this rose gold reinterpretation is where summer nights live forever. The Nautilus, reference 5712/1R-001, is fashioned with a rose gold case and bracelet as well as a sunburst brown dial with black-gradient rim. In addition to the hours and minutes, this watch features an ultra-thin Self-winding 240 PS IRM C LU Calibre that displays small seconds situated at four o’clock. This model includes a power-reserve indication found between ten and eleven o’clock, and a date indicator nestled at 7 o’clock on the backdrop of a moon-phase display.
This timepiece is water-resistant to sixty metres. The readability of the dial with its signature Nautilus horizontal embossed motif is enhanced by its applied hour markers and rounded baton-type hands – all in rose gold with white luminescent coating. This model is also available in white gold with alligator leather straps.
All things lavish must dazzle, one way or another. This Nautilus, reference 7118/1300R-001, is reimagined in a new jewellery set with spessartites in a cognac to a champagne colour gradient. A chic yet elegant model, the brilliant spessartites on this timepiece is delicately placed to accentuate its overall appeal. The dial features eleven ogival-shaped cognac-coloured spessartite hour-markers standing out against the rose-gilt dial with wavy patterns as seen in most Nautilus models for ladies.
A precious creation with a modern style, the watch includes rose gold hands in brown lacquered varnishes. The rose gold aperture frame highlights the date display at 6 o’clock. This Nautilus comes with a thirty-five point two-millimetre diameter case to ensure a water resistance of sixty metres in depth. This Nautilus includes a Self-winding 324 S C Calibre with its refined finishing visible through a transparent sapphire case back.
