We have finally made it to the end of the 92nd Academy Awards, and what a journey it has been! This year has seen an especially exciting awards season, with works from Scorsese and Tarantino to Greta Gerwig and Bong Joon Ho, a host-less Oscars, and celebrities making fashionable statements on the red carpet.
This year saw history as “Parasite” deservedly became the first foreign-language film to not only grace the Oscar race, but also snag several awards. Brad Pitt also won his first Oscar for his performance in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, and Joaquin Phoenix gave a heartfelt speech that combined racism, veganism, the general egocentrism of humanity, and his late brother River Phoenix.
