More than 18 months after his passing, the legendary Karl Lagerfeld continues to inspire designer peers and fashion mavens around the world. From his grandiose fashion shows at the helm of Chanel and Fendi to his quintessential wardrobe consisting of an archetypal suit, sunglasses and ponytail, there’s much to remember about the revered creative director, designer, photographer and artist.
Paying homage to the Kaiser, the house of KARL LAGERFELD presents a Pre-Fall 2020 collection that celebrates his iconic look. Dubbed Karl Legend, the collection includes a selection of ready-to-wear and accessories that are either elaborated with graphic sketches of the designer or a photograph of his signature white ponytail as captured from behind.
True to the brand DNA, the colour palette appears in a staple black and white, with the occasional vivid pink accents. A distinctive KARL typography also adorns selected pieces using an embossed, rubberised technique.
The ready-to-wear range comprises of a classic leather biker jacket, a white shirt, a bomber jacket, denimwear, as well as premium yet street-friendly sweatshirts and tees. Bags arrive in a variety of bold and versatiile designs spanning backpacks, totes, clutches and belt bags. Other accessories include an extensive selection of wallets, cardholders, caps and scarves.
