This year, first from the range to be introduced is Bourbon Cask & Rye Finish – a rich and warm honeyed expression with the intensely sweet flavours of – as its name suggests- bourbon and rye.
It is born from head distiller and master blender Dr Jim Beveridge’s time spent blending bourbon and rye in Kentucky in the 90’s, with immense depth and subtlety in flavour. Drawn from over 200 whisky samples and aged in first-fill bourbon casks and finished for up to six months in former rye casks, this expression is bottled in individually numbered bottles.
