The new Bell & Ross BR05 Skeleton Blue highlights the architectural modern design of Bell & Ross’s latest urban collection.
Bell & Ross launched the BR01 fifteen years ago when it decided to reinvent the aesthetic codes of contemporary watchmaking. It was a distinctive and singular watch that was directly inspired by on-board flight instruments, sporting a square case, a round dial, and one screw in each of the four corners. Its utilitarian design completely revolutionised traditional watchmaking codes that we have known and loved.
The BR01 has evolved over the years without losing its origins and identity. As the ultimate reference in aeronautical watchmaking ever since, Bell & Ross launched the BR05 in 2019 – an instrument specially crafted for urban explorers.
The BR05 collection features an integrated bracelet that fuses with the case to create an elegant, unified timepiece. This year, Bell & Ross introduces a new member to the BR05 family – the new BR05 Skeleton Blue.
This new skeleton version in true blue doesn’t just reflect the craftsmanship of the watchmaker, it also highlights the architectural modern design of the BR05 collection. It features eye-catching rich finishes, an angular 40mm case, and perfectly even satin-finished surfaces. The polished bevels emphasise and enhance the volumes they contain. In order to ensure that the bracelet sit comfortably on the wearer’s wrist, particular attention has been paid to the arch of the curve, which allows all the components to be perfectly aligned.

The wearer can easily admire the skeleton movement through the blue-tinted transparent dial, which also features metal appliqué indices. The skeletonised Super-Luminova-filled hands and appliqué indices offer perfect legibility at both day and night.
The BR05 Skeleton Blue is powered by a BR-CAL.322 mechanism, wound by a 350° blue-coated oscillating weight that’s open-worked to showcase the in-house designed movement. Flip the timepiece and one can see the brand’s logo metallised on the sapphire case-back.
Limited to only 500 pieces, the BR06 Skeleton Blue is available on a blue rubber strap or on a satin-polished steel bracelet, priced at RM28,500 and RM31,000 respectively. Discover this sophisticated timepiece on the Bell & Ross official website.
